Colosseum

Also known as the Flavian Amphitheater, the Colosseum was Rome's greatest arena. Its outer wall stands 159 feet high with a floor of 280 by 175 feet. The floor was always filled with performances of acrobats and battles of gladiators and wild animals. It is a great historic place to see since most of the stadiums today are based from the structure of this arena.
