Everyone knows of the leaning tower of Pisa. But have you ever wondered why it leans? It started to lean during its construction due to unstable subsoil. It took about 177 years to finish the building. The stones in the structure ended up aligning with each other, therefore it was decided that the reconstruction of the tower would be harmful.
